HSA Funding News
So far the school community has managed to raise over £3000 from their various Christmas fundraising efforts. This includes the Santa Run, the Christmas Trail and a huge amount of crafts that have been made and sold by some brilliant parents and kids. So much effort has gone in from so many people and the result is that we’ve covered the funding gap left by the loss of the Winter Fair, and a bit more. The Trail is still running until Christmas Day and the craft money is still coming in, so we haven’t finished yet.
The HSA want to say thanks to everyone for the mammoth effort – we’ll do a full report of all the great things we are funding in the New Year.
Goodbye but we hope to see you soon!
This week we have been saying goodbye to Charles who works in year 2 and two members of staff who have dedicated many years to Campsbourne School. I know how much Dawn and Marta will miss Campsbourne and how much Campsbourne will miss them. There is no way under current restrictions we could give either of them the send-off they deserve so we are going to wait until the summer when we hope restrictions will have been eased and we can throw a suitable party to wish them both all the best for the future.
Christmas Performance
I would like to thank Jeannie and the class teachers for all their hard work putting the following video together. I hope it brings some festive cheer to your homes.

COVID Cases during School Holidays
The Government has asked that we make everyone aware of the arrangements in terms of Covid-19 cases during the school holidays and so it would be helpful if you could make yourselves familiar with the following:
If a pupil or staff member tests positive for coronavirus (COVID-19), having developed symptoms within 48 hours of being in school, the school is asked to assist in identifying close contacts and advising self-isolation, as the individual may have been infectious whilst in school. This means anyone who tests positive on Saturday 19th or Sunday 20th December.
If you do need to contact school to report symptoms please email me at head@campsbourne.haringey.sch.uk. I will be accessing my email through the day over the weekend and will pick them up.
Where a pupil or staff member tests positive for coronavirus (COVID-19), having developed symptoms more than 48 hours since being in school, the school should not be contacted. Parents and carers should follow contact tracing instructions provided by NHS Test and Trace.
Please help our community to get through this difficult period together and safely, so that we can all enjoy the holiday we deserve.

Staying Safe Online
As we enter another period where opportunities for our children to socialise in person are restricted many of them will move online to stay in contact. The following link provides guidance for parents to ensure that they remain safe.
