Meet the Governors

Campsbourne Governing Body works with the Head Teacher and staff at the school to promote high standards of educational achievement in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.

Full Governing Body

Meetings are broken into two parts. Parents are welcome to come along to Part 1 of the Governor's meetings and the minutes for this part are here. Part 2 is a closed meeting as it is specifically related to confidential matters.

Committees

The Governing Body has two committees dealing with particular aspects of the governance of the school. These meet at least once a term and report to the Governing Body. Each committee has a chair and up to ten members including the Head Teacher. Committee meetings are open to anyone to attend. Details of meetings are available on the Governors' Diary page.

Being a Governor

The role of a parent governor is no different to that of the other governors. As with all governors, they are there to set the vision for the school, to act as a 'critical friend' to the Senior Leadership Team at the school and to ensure accountability: that the school is well managed and that it ensures the best outcomes for the children who go there.
