Dear Parent / Carers,
The week of 6th June we will be holding our first “Campsbourne Celebrates Difference” event. Children will have the opportunity to participate in activities throughout the week and we will celebrate these on Friday the 10th June. We’d like to extend these celebrations to you all with homemade dishes from around the world available from 3.30 with special performances from 4.15-5.45 in the upper KS2 playground along with music and an art exhibition. Everyone is encouraged to wear traditional dress or colourful attire.
To make this event special we need Your help! If you are able to provide some homecooked dishes then please contact your HSA representatives so we can include as many different tastes of the world as possible.
Next week we will be holding our first sale for pre-loved uniform items. A table will be set up in the Eco Room every day between 8.40 – 9.30 where parents are welcome to come and see what items we have available. If you find that items are suitable for your child, you can buy them from us for the bargain price of £1.00 per item.
We already have a ready supply of second hand uniform to sell at the moment but if you have uniform which you would like to donate then we will be accepting donations during the week which we sell uniform on. So if you have uniform which you would like to donate please feel free to drop this off in the Eco Room next week
I would like to thank all of the class reps who have given up their time to meet with me to ask questions on your behalf and the constructive manner in which the meets were held. I am in the process of drafting responses and/or planned actions to the questions which were asked with the aim of sharing this with you before half term. The aim is to host these meetings each term so there are regular opportunities for parents to provide feedback to the school. The next meeting will take place after the autumn half term.
Due to the Jubilee Celebrations this half term the holiday club will only be open on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Details of what has been planned can be found in the following leaflet.
During next week we will be talking to the children about the importance of creativity. We will be discussing the importance of being creative and the different ways we can all be creative and aim to dispel the myth and creativity is just about music and art.

Congratulations to everyone, old and young, who finished the Crouch End Fun Run last Saturday. The sun was shining brightly which made it a lovely day for a picnic but not necessarily a long run! Congratulations to everyone who took part and finished the course....
