Change to Key Stage 2 Winter Concert Venue
We have decided to move the key stage 2 winter concerts to the school gym so that we can accommodate two parents / carers for each child. We look forward to welcoming you on the 16th December 2024 – 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm for Years 3 and 4 and on the 18th December 2024 – 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm for Years 5 and 6.
No NUT Schools
Can I please remind you all that we are a NO NUT school. Can you please ensure that your children do not bring food items to school which contain nuts.
Christmas Lunch and Christmas Jumper Day
We will be having our Christmas Lunch and encouraging children to wear their Christmas jumper on Wednesday 11th December. If your child has a packed lunch but would like a Christmas lunch can you please contact the school office by Thursday 5th December at the very latest.

Winter Fair
There’s only 1 more sleep to go until our Campsbourne School HSA Winter Fair! Here are some top tips on making the most of your time there!
* The main gates will open at 3 pm! Please have your tickets at the ready (either on your phone screen or the paper tickets). Presale prices are still available online until 11:55 pm TONIGHT, all tickets after that on the door will be £2.
* Card payments will be available at the entrance, the bar, the BBQ and the cafe, as well as some of the makers in the market, everywhere else is cash ONLY – please try to bring coins if you can.
* We have secured an incredible selection of local makers and crafters for our very first Makers’ Market, some are even Campsbourne alumni or parents and all are incredibly talented! So please come and meet them, support their stalls and buy some gifts.
* Beautiful musical performances from Campsbourne parents will be happening in the gym from 3 pm, followed by a festive sing-along with the Campsbourne choir at 4 pm then DJ Ben will carry us through to 6 pm with an epic disco party!
* We have collected a truly incredible selection of raffle prizes from local businesses and kind individuals and have split them into 3 categories – kid prizes, adult prizes and a 6ft Christmas tree! You’ve got to be in it to win it, so come and grab a raffle ticket (or 10!) and we will pull the winning tickets at 5:50 pm on Saturday (all winners will be contacted by 6th December).
* Santa & Elf show slots are selling out, so secure your child’s tickets today – you can expect musical performances, immersive activities, magic tricks, storytelling, and festive surprises! Please arrive promptly for your time slot.
* All the meat at the BBQ will be halal and there will be vegetarian options too.
The entire event has been put together by parents and carer VOLUNTEERS, in their own time, so please remember to speak kindly and treat everyone involved with the winter fair with respect. If you haven’t already, please consider signing up for a volunteer slot, check with your class rep for more information, we simply can’t host these whole school events without all hands on deck.
We continue to work on a reduce/reuse/recycle approach at our events and ask that you please do your bit and use the bins and recycling boxes provided to help us keep Campsbourne tidy on Saturday! We encourage you to bring your own cup for hot drinks (you will receive a 50p discount if you do)!
The weather looks dry and chilly – so wrap up warm and we can’t wait to see you there to kick start off the festive season!
