The good weather is set to stay and the children have coped well despite the rising temperatures. I cannot stress highly enough during these weeks of high temperatures the importance of sending your child in to school with a water bottle, a sun hat and a layer of sun screen to protect their skin.

CHOIR
The choir once again did themselves proud at the Schools Event for the Crouch End Festival last Saturday. It was a great turn-out for audience and performers alike. Well done choir!
BEN KINSELLA TRIP
Year 6 had an engaging trip to the Ben Kinsella Trust this week. The children were taught about the seriousness of knife crime and the harsh consequences of it. It was clearly very impactful and a very useful educational opportunity for all of the children.
CHICKS AND DUCKS
It’s been a particularly exciting week in Reception as our little visitors have hatched! The children have had the excitement of chicks and ducklings in their classroom and they have of course all had the opportunity to have a hold!
FRIENDLY REMINDERS –
Snacks – Please remember that crisps should not be sent in with your child as a breaktime snack. A piece of fruit or a healthy bar is a good alternative.
Smart Watches – Please can ensure that your child does not wear a smart watch to school – Apple Watches, Samsung watches, Garmin watches etc because they cause distractions for the children and disrupt their learning. If the school needs to contact you we will make sur that this happens.
