Thank you to Elena and to our New HSA Chairs!
Hello everyone,
We held the HSA AGM last night and I’m writing to tell you about the changes we made which are all now official.
I’m very pleased to tell you all that we have not only 1, but 2 new chairs! Bu Keser & Aysha Tupman Newbery. I know they are going to be absolutely brilliant and I feel really lucky to be able to pass the baton onto to such capable and passionate hands.
We also have a new treasurer, Matt Ingram; a new secretary, Ruth Stubbles; a new classlist ambassador, Alexia Deane and 2 new general members Carmen Melinas and Robyn Ballin. Thank you all for stepping up!
So it’s farewell from me, Tabitha Jones, Mel Pemberton and Alice Berry.
It’s been a brilliant 3 years, you have all been really supportive and we’ve managed to have some really good times and raise some money for the school, what more can you ask for?! Our Campsbourne community is second to none in my opinion.
A special thanks to the committee members past and present I have worked with but especially Tabitha Jones, Diana Smith, Bu Keser, Sarah Guttridge, Alice Berry, Sarah Sharpe, Filiz Erkman and Mel Pemberton – you are all literal superwomen and I couldn’t have asked for a better team.
It’s been an absolute pleasure everyone – see you at the next event!

Class Rep Meeting
Attached to this email is my written response to the questions which I was asked at our last meeting. To provide parents with more time to ask me questions I will be hosting two meetings in future, one for the Infants and one for the Juniors. My next meetings are at 9am on Wednesday 22nd February for the Infant School and at 9am on Wednesday 1st March for the Juniors.
Christmas Shows
I hope you are all looking forward to our Christmas shows next week kicking off with Reception on Monday. The Reception, Y1 and Y2 shows are not ticketed but we ask that only 2 people attend from each family and then everyone should get a seat! The shows all start at 9.30. If you can remain in the lower playground after drop off and a member of staff will come and get you when your children are ready!
Christmas Jumper Day
Next Thursday is Christmas Jumper day so those who have a Christmas Jumper are very welcome to wear theirs to school. We are aware that the cost of living crisis is very difficult for many families at the moment and as we have just collected money for Children in Need we will not be asking for donations for Save the Children.
No After School Provision on Tuesday 6th December
There is no after school provision of any kind on Tuesday 6th December due to whole staff training.
Final Day of Term
Don’t forget that school closes at 1.45pm on the final day of term which is Friday 16th December. There is no after school provision on this day.
