Dear Parent / Carers,
We are very fortunate to have a stable and committed staff at Campsbourne but every now and then someone needs to leave and this year we will be saying goodbye to our Early Years Lead, Natasha Crabbe. Natasha joined Campsbourne in 2019 and has been an inspiration for our Early Years leading from the front with her passion for teaching. Natasha has been successful in achieving a well earned promotion and will be joining a nursery school in south London as their headteacher. This is a well deserved promotion and one which we all wish her the best of luck with. They are very lucky to have her lead their school in these difficult times.
Celebrating Differences at Campsbourne
We were pleased to see the wonderful progress that our children are making in learning about diversity. As an inclusive and diverse community, our children shared a safe space across the week, in assemblies and activities that promoted understanding and acceptance of different cultures, backgrounds, beliefs and different neurocognitive abilities. Through storytelling, art projects and discussions, they shared their differences and this culminated into a celebration school assembly on Friday afternoon, followed by welcoming in the wider school community at our after school event. One of the highlights of our Celebrating Differences week was the neurodiversity performance that some of our year 4’s and 5’s participated in, as well as many of the children sharing their diagnosis’ of Autism, ADHD, OCD and Dyslexia. It was extraordinary and empowering to hear the children sharing what they find difficult and what they are really good at and as the other children listened, they also gained the confidence to share and discuss their differences.
Parent Survey
The parent survey will be closing next weekend so please try and find some time to complete it this week. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us understand how well we are doing and where we need to focus on making improvements.

The Summer fair is next Saturday!! We’re all so excited for a wonderful Campsbourne community event and hugely appreciative of all the donations and volunteer efforts so far! The forecast is excellent so come on down and help us kick start the summer; we’ll have pints from the Goodness brewery, live music from Campsbourne’s choir and Sambassadors, all your favourite fairground games and stalls will be open and the Hornsey Fire station are bringing their finest fire engine for everyone to sit in! Check with your class rep if there are any volunteer slots you can help plug as we really can’t put a whole school fair on without all hands on deck!
