Dear Parents / Carers,
In Year 3 this week, the children attending forest school have been very busy making dens using sticks and leaves gathered from the forest; making bridges over the holes they had dug; using natural objects to aid in the weaving of the string when making friendship bracelets and decorating rocks and stones. A very exciting session it sounds like!

Thank you HSA
Also, a huge thank you to the HSA who work incredibly hard for Campsbourne and raise so much money for our wonderful school. The infant disco was a huge success; looking forward to hearing all about the junior one too!
Some friendly reminders!
Please can I remind parents that the children’s snack at breaktimes should be a healthy choice. Crisps and chocolate biscuits are not allowed and these will be taken away from the children if spotted by a member of staff and given back to them at the end of the day. Please can you also remind your child not to share food with other children due to potential allergies. Many thanks.

Play scheme will be open this half term. Mon 17th – Fri 21st Feb
- 8-6PM £38.50
- 9 -4PM £27.00
Bookings are now open. If we do not get enough interest, unfortunately this may not be able to happen.

Read-a-thon
Hopefully everyone has been busy reading and filling in their Read-a-thon logs and pledge forms. If you need more copies of the paperwork, speak to your class teacher or see the attached PDF documents to print off at home. An incredible selection of prizes has been collected from Pickled Pepper Books and will be handed out to the top minute readers in assembly in March!
Playground Books
Remember there’s a pocket money book sale in the playgound every Friday afternoon, everything is 50p or £1 – with proceeds going towards the Year 6 prom and Royal Albert Hall choir trip. Perfect timing with the Read-a-thon happening, so you can stock up on all your favourite reads!
