Year 6 trip to Junior Citizens
Year 6 had a thoroughly engaging trip to Scout Park on Tuesday morning for our Junior Citizens workshop. ...
Dear Parents / Carers,
It has been another warm week and the good weather is set to stay for a few more days yet. During periods of extreme weather it is important that we enjoy the heat in the right way. Please continue to provide your child with a water bottle and a sun hat. It is also very important that sunscreen is applied before they come to school. We are doing everything we can as a school to keep the children cool and hydrated through the day. It was lovely to see so many people at the summer fair last week despite the extreme heat. The fantastic work of the HSA ensured that there was a lot to do for everyone. Just over £5000 was raised which was incredible so thank you to everyone who attended. We look forward to next year’s Summer Fair. Sports Day takes place next week on Friday 4th July on the outfield of Alexandra Park Cricket Club. I have been instructed by the secretary of the club that the wicket area must be kept clear at all times. Please remember to remain in the cordoned off designated area for parents and carers for the duration of the event. We look forward to welcoming many of you to one of the highlights of the school year.

The Campsbourne Summer Fair on Saturday was nothing short of magical – and together, we raised a record-breaking £5,010.30 for Campsbourne School! 🏆💚 From start to finish, the energy was incredible, and none of it would have been possible without our amazing community. THANK YOU to every single person who showed up, helped out, donated, and made the day unforgettable. 💫
🌟 Special shout-outs to:

🎶 DJ Ben for keeping the music flowing, and Audio Gold for their loan of a PA system
🎤 Jeannie and the Campsbourne Choir for their beautiful performance

🏡 And a massive thank you to Tatlers, our local estate agent, for sponsoring the fair with their neighbourhood boards and helping cover key costs – we couldn’t have done it without you!
🔥 Most of all, thank you to the incredible HSA team and every single volunteer who gave their time, energy, and effort—all in 32°C heat! You made this event happen, and we’re beyond grateful. We’re so proud of what we achieved together – this is what community looks like. 💛

Next Friday, the 4th of July, come and join us in the lower playground after school from 3:30 – 5 pm for a relaxed afternoon at the HSA Picnic. Bring a blanket, we will have alcoholic and soft drinks as well as crisps and snacks on sale (cash and card accepted), and there will be music and dancing and musical performances from the choir!
