25 Jun Year 3 trip to the Natural History Museum
Over the past week, both Year 3 classes visited the Natural History Museum as part of our Amazing Earth geography topic. We spent some time exploring the Earthquakes and Volcanoes exhibition and enjoyed reinforcing our learning about what earthquakes and volcanoes are and how they occur. The children loved all of the hands-on aspects of the exhibition. We then spent some time visiting other galleries in the museum. Some of the highlights of the day were the escalator journey up through a giant metallic globe in the Earth Hall, the earthquake simulator, the enormous blue whale skeleton and meeting the roaring T.rex!
