Dear Parent / Carers,
The governors have written the following letter to provide you with an update on the recruitment of a new headteacher.
Dear Parent / Carers,
I am writing to update you on the recruitment process for our new headteacher. Please be assured that we are doing everything possible to make the right appointment for our school community. We hope the following information will provide clarity on the process.
Recruiting a headteacher is an important and thorough task and we are pleased to have had a strong pool of candidates to consider. We have implemented a rigorous selection process to ensure we select the best leader for our school. This process includes not only interviews but also essential HR procedures, such as verifying professional qualifications, obtaining references from current and former employers, and ensuring all safeguarding and legal checks are fully completed. While these steps are necessary to ensure we appoint a highly qualified and suitable leader, they can sometimes take longer than anticipated.
We greatly appreciate your patience as we carry out this process. We will continue to keep you informed and will share further updates as soon as we are able to confirm our new headteacher.
Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to contact the school office, who can arrange for you to speak with a member of the Governing Body.
Yours sincerely,
Laura Lewis-Williams
