Parent Safe
Parent Safe is a resource which is specifically targeted at parents providing advice and guidance on how to keep our children safe when they aren’t with us, and sometimes even when they are, especially on their devices! Who are they talking to, what are they doing, are they okay? Click on the following link to access these resources and keep your child safe. Home (lgfl.net)

There is a local campaign to raise money to have new trees planted on Nightingale Lane. They have raised funding for 6.5 trees out of a possible 20 so any additional support would be great! If you are interested in supporting this initiative please the campaign link here:

Please bring any unwanted CLEAN coats in good condition to the main gate and put them in the marked box.
Latest from the HSA
Cheese & Wine Night
It’s our annual cheese and wine mingle evening hosted by the HSA next week Wednesday 2nd October 8 – 10 pm. This is for new families who have just joined the Nursery and Reception classes at Campsbourne in September (even if you were at the nursery last year and have just started reception)! Come along and enjoy complimentary cheese, wine and snacks and get the chance to know some fellow Campsbourne families. (Non-alcoholic options are available also). It’s also an opportunity to meet some friendly HSA faces and learn more about the school. We will be based in the dinner hut and you can enter through the main gate on Nightingale Lane. If no one is there to let you in, we will leave a contact number to ring on the gate and someone will come! We hope you can make it and look forward to welcoming your family to our wonderful school! This is an **adults only** event! See Classlist for more details.
Cashpots for schools
As many of you know, School Budgets are so TIGHT and unfortunately, there’s no exception for Campsbourne – our kids may even miss out on basic classroom items such as pencils, tissues etc because the budget can’t stretch that far. Hence why the HSA works so hard to provide fun and inclusive events that raise vital extra funds for the school and with your help, we can raise even MORE! You may have seen that together with Joe Wicks, Asda is running a Cashpot scheme through their Asda Rewards App to help donate funds to primary schools. They will donate £1 per person who simply downloads and signs up for the scheme as well as 0.5% of your shopping total, every time you shop (online or in person). Even if you don’t shop in Asda, or don’t shop there very often, just download the app to give the Campsbourne HSA a free £1! Please consider supporting Campsbourne by setting up an account, and choosing either Campsbourne Infant or Junior School … it doesn’t cost you a penny to sign up and it only takes a few moments! Plus the first person to sign up attached to the Infant school and complete a shop through the app will gain us an extra £50!! We only have until the 30th of November to collect as many donations as possible before the scheme closes! So far we’ve raised £65.31p but there’s lots more up for grabs. Thanks for your continued support of our amazing school! See Classlist for more details.
HSA AGM
The HSA’s Annual General Meeting has been set for Tuesday 19th November at 8 pm and you are all invited! Online only. Come and find out what the HSA has achieved this last year and discuss plans for the year ahead. We will be reviewing the accounts and annual report and also saying good bye and thank you to outgoing committee members and welcoming new members. Zoom link and agenda to follow soon.
