Dear Parent / Carers,
Message from the Junior Travel Ambassadors
The Junior Travel Ambassadors are running a competition and would like your help! We would like you to design a poster telling motorists to stop speeding and idling their engines outside our school. There is a special prize for entering and you could see your design hanging on the school fence. The closing date is the 12th of July. Please Enter!
The Eco warriors Need your help!
We are trying to make our school free from single use plastics. We are hoping that in September after the summer holidays you could help us by not sending your children into school with single use water bottles, trying not to use cling film, crisp and popcorn packets in their pack lunch. Did you know that around 60 million plastic bottles end up in landfills every day and 1.2 billion meters of cling film are used across the UK each year. If we work together we can make a difference.
Summer Holiday Club
It is now possible to start booking spaces for this year’s summer holiday club which is running from Thursday 25th July to Friday 16th August. As with our half term club we will be offering parents the opportunity to book 8am to 6pm sessions and 9am to 4pm sessions as well. You can book places using scopay. SCOPAY

Summer Fair
WOW, Saturday’s Summer Fair was incredible! We had over 750 come through the gates in only 3 hours! A big big thank you to all who came along, to everyone who helped set up, who signed up for a volunteer slot and for everyone who bought some tokens to play and join in with activities. We are still counting up the money and will be able to let everyone know early next week how much we raised! Of course, we want to raise vital funds for our school through these events, but a huge part is about bringing the community together and creating a fun day that everyone can participate in – and I think we did just that!
Auction
We’re into our last few days of the online auction – it ends at 9 pm this Sunday, the 30th of June! It’s not too late to grab some truly incredible prizes and help raise money for school! There are some truly fantastic prizes up for grabs, that have been kindly donated by local businesses and families and all the money raised will go towards exciting projects for your children to benefit from at school. So have a look and see if anything takes your fancy and let the bidding wars commence

HSA “Thank You” Picnic
The end of term wind down has begun and we’d love the chance for some extra time to relax together at our HSA picnic before the summer holidays, so come after school on Friday 12th July (weather permitting). There will be a bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as cans of fizzy pop and cartons of juice. The freezer will be stocked with ice poles for only 50p and we’ll have a variety of crisps, granola bars and pre-wrapped snacks on sale to enjoy. Jeannie is preparing some musical numbers for everyone to be entertained by. Come along and spend a few hours hanging out with friends in the lower playground! We look forward to welcoming you there.
Measles and Whooping Cough
