Dear Parent / Carers,
As always, there’s been lots of exciting learning happening at Campsbourne this week. In Year 1, the children have been learning about different animals in their science unit of work; this week, they’ve been learning all about birds. The children have been asked to go on a bird hunt this weekend as part of their homework and record their findings!
Some friendly reminders!
A reminder to parents that teachers have up to 5 working days to reply to emails, please refer to this information below which is also on the website:
Teachers teach between 9.00 – 3.30 Mon to Fri so this email account is only checked periodically between 8.30 – 9.00 and 3.30 – 4.30 Mon to Fri. They will therefore aim to respond to your email within 5 working days. If it is urgent please contact the school office using admin@campsbourne.haringey.sch.uk who check emails Mon –Fri between the hours of 8.15 – 3.45.
We appreciate so much the parent volunteers who attend our trips; without you we wouldn’t be able to plan for these additional, exciting opportunities for the children. However, please can we ask you to remember that if you are out on a trip as a volunteer, we have a no phone policy and parents should not be taking calls or photos of the children. This is for safeguarding reasons. Many thanks.

Latest from the HSA
Uniform Stampede
Thanks to everyone who helped us distribute uniforms on Wednesday morning and those who could chip in some money towards the cause, helping us raise £244.25. We still have a large selection of uniforms aged 3 – 7 years, so we’ll have another stampede after half term. If you need a uniform, speak to your class rep as ultimately we just want all the children to have the uniform they need.
Read-a-thon
Everyone should have received their Read-a-thon pack this week – it starts TOMORROW! We’re all so excited to hear about the different books the children read and to celebrate all the reading and learning that will happen over February. If you need more copies of the paperwork, speak to your class teacher or see the attached PDF documents to print off at home.
