Next week we host our final open mornings for this academic year with the Reception and Year 1 Open Morning taking place on Tuesday 9th May 9.00 – 9.30. Open Mornings for Years 2 and 3 will take place on Monday 15th May and on Monday 22nd May for Years 4, 5 and 6.
Year 6 Song Writers Progress in Song Academy Young Songwriters 2023
Last term’s focus in music for Year 6 was song writing. To this end bands were created and songs written. The school sent in 9 entries to the Song Academy Young Songwriters 2023 competition and we are thrilled to announce that one of the songs made it to the top 30 in their category and are now through to the next stage. An amazing achievement! Congratulations to the Black Sheep Blues pictured below during a rehearsal break. Look out Glastonbury – here they come!
Campsbourne Quiz night with Shaun Wallace “The Dark Destroyer” from ITV’s The Chase
Roll up for the last few tickets for next week’s Quiz night (Thursday 11th May from 7pm). Tickets are £6 or max table of 6 for £36. If you can’t get a whole table together then you can still buy your tickets and we will match you up with some other friendly quizzers! Black Heritage Community Coffee Morning
Welcome back to the Summer term. I hope we are all doing well and living in abundance. I would like to put together more regular networking events which will allow for more frequent discussions and better opportunity to network. These may be in the form of coffee mornings or afternoons and will provide opportunities such as visiting our school library where we can have the opportunity to look at and discuss the books children have access to. As it starts to warm up, we can also have visits to the Eco Garden or over at Ally Pally. These will mostly be during school hours so your children will remain in class. Any young siblings however are welcome to come along. Please also feel free to pass this information on to any other families you feel will benefit from these discussions.
