I became an associate member in 2021 and have a son in year 3 at Campsbourne.

My background as an early years practitioner has given me the experience  to work with children from diverse backgrounds, neurodiversity and across the socio economic spectrum. I also have personal experience of managing children with SEN, and am fully aware of the challenges faced in a learning environment.

I attended Campsbourne school as a child and have seen many positive changes over the years and lived locally to the school all my life.   I have good community links including with local parents who I am hoping to help to strengthen parental engagement with the school.

As a young carer of mixed heritage I am aware of the challenges some young people may face which may affect their learning and emotional wellbeing. I have joined the governing board to increase diverse representation and hopefully encourage others to join who would otherwise not see themselves in this role.
