27 Sep SCHOOL COUNCIL VISIT HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT
The School Council had a marvellous time at The Houses of Parliament on Tuesday. We had a tour of the building, visiting both chambers – The House of Lords and Commons. Subsequently, the children had a workshop about laws and decision-making, where they had to decide on a policy that they would pass if they were elected as the government. They decided on an environmental issue focusing on banning plastic bags, which they all seemed very passionate and knowledgeable about. It was brilliant to see all of the children very engaged and interested in politics and wider political issues. Well done Campsbourne!
