05 Dec Year 4 Design and Technology Week
This week, Year 4 have been fully engaged in our Design and Technology focus on levers and linkages. They explored how simple mechanisms can be used to create controlled movement, investigating a range of examples before applying their new knowledge to their own designs.
Each child planned, constructed and refined a moving mechanism, making thoughtful decisions about materials and assembly techniques. They then evaluated the effectiveness of their finished product, reflecting on what worked well and identifying areas for future improvement.
