09 Nov Katherine West and the Mayor of Haringey Celebrate Heartstone Project at Campsbourne School
On Wednesday, Year 5 and 6 children took part in Haringey’s local Heartstone exhibition at Campsbourne. We were joined by special guests Katherine West and the Mayor of Haringey to celebrate all of the hard work children have put towards this project, which aims to build a school community-based response to issues such as hate crime, intolerance and extremism. A huge thank you to the Campsbourne Choir and Jeannie for opening the event with a beautiful song. Congratulations to the students who spoke at the event: Bilal, Eva, Sereny, Tomas, Ines, Elsie, Gwen, Luke, Kiki, Louis, Berfin, Jac, Emilia H., Arisa, Elsa and Reuben. Lastly, thank you to the school ambassadors, Bilal and Sila, for welcoming all of our guests!
