19 Jan NSPCC Safeguarding Workshops for Years 5 and 6
Safeguarding children is everyone’s priority and ensuring that children have the knowledge and skills to keep them self safe is vital especially as they get older and more independent. As part of educating children about safeguarding today we invited in volunteers from NSPCC to talk to children in year 5 and 6. The children learnt about the 4 main types of abuse, people who can help us when we are worried and what we would do in a variety of scenarios. We hope they found the sessions useful and learnt about ways to keep themselves safe.
