24 Jun Year 1 make Healthy Fruit Snacks during Health and Safety Week
In DT, Year 1 have been learning about healthy fruit snacks. The children firstly planned what snack they would make, either a smoothie, a fruit kebab or a fruit cocktail and then chose a variety of fruits to use. They carefully used a knife to cut their fruit into pieces and then made their chosen snack. The children enjoyed eating their yummy snack with their friends. It has been lovely to receive emails from home showing the children sharing their learning with you and creating healthy fruit snacks for their family.
