Our focus in Year 2 was Mechanisms: Wheels and Axles. We learnt about the different parts of a wheeled vehicle and their purposes. We found out that there are different types of axles: fixed axles and free axles. We then had fun planning and making our own wheeled vehicles with an axle holder and a free axle.
