14 Jul Year 5 Make Torches in D&T Week
This week, year 5 had the opportunity to make torches. They carefully planned and designed a torch of their choice using a range of recycled materials from the year. They then created a bulb, battery and switch circuit in order to power the torch. The children found the task really exciting and enjoyed the challenge of ensuring there were no gaps in the circuits in order for the torches to work!
